How does Keep Computer Awake Extension Work?
If you are like us, you get up in the morning and you need to get things done. However, even on a good day, it is quite difficult to stay focused. All you need to do is to keep the computer on all day long, and this is what we provide with the Keep Computer Awake. When you use the extension, your computer will be kept in the normal state, but you can turn it back to default state by a timer. You can select the time to return to the default state, and you can change the screen-saver option to let your computer run all day long. This is especially useful if you are playing a game that consumes a lot of power, or if you want to watch a movie with full-screen mode.
You can switch between three states with this extension:
Off - Turn off the computer and switch to default state. You can also use keyboard shortcuts. Off for a while - Keep the computer running for a while, and then switch to the default state. Never - Turn off the computer completely and never switch to the default state. If you use Never, this extension will not show up when you click the icon in the system tray. You can keep your computer on for a set time, and then switch to default state. You can also add the extension to your favorites list, and it will be automatically added to your menu, next time you open the browser. When you go to bed, this extension will switch to default state and your computer will be off.
